The
University of Wolfenbüttel is called Fachhochschule. It is divided in
two areas in Wolfenbüttel (the other part is called Am Exer, but it's
the same University. It is just there where we followed our German
courses) and in 4 places: Wolfenbüttel, Salzgitter, Wolfsburg and
Braunschweig. Every University has its own specialities:
- Wolfenbüttel (University of applied sciences):
- Electrical engineering
- Mechanics engineering
- Informatics
- Bio environment
- Law
- Braunschweig:
- Social affairs
- Salzgitter:
- Transport
- Sports
- Tourism
- Media
- Wolsburg
- Social affairs
- Production
- Companies management
The University of Wolfenbüttel looks like more an IUT than a University; it prepares students to work afterward. It can also prepare them to become engineers.
The particularity in this University is many people are older than normal students (around 25-30 years old for the first year students). The main reason is the majority of students already have a professional experience: they worked, did training and training courses in a company and after working go to University of Fachhochscule to be certified and gets the position job in the same company.
For example, a person gets a formation during two or three years in Volskswagen after the BAC, and then works there some time. After working, he comes back to school at the University of Facchochschule in Wolfenbüttel to get a degree of engineer. If he succeeds, he will become an engineer in Volkswagen. The company will certainly pay the studies for him.

Présentation of the Laboratory :
You can see my workspace. I have computers that I can use. It's just here I programmed and work on my LOGO device, an API.
You can see here my workspace of weld. I build there my model where there are the Inputs for the simulation.
Here is the Nassim and Mostapha workspace. They worked on Micromaster with an assembly line model.
