How to go to Wolfenbüttel
To go to Wolfenbüttel, you have 3 ways :
- Car
- Train
- Plane
Train
is expensive, plane is not direct, so the car is the best way and we
recommand you. Moreover, you can visit cities around with it and you
are more free. You can also share the price of the gasoline.
- Car :
- Approximately14h of trip (with long break) to travel 1500 km
- Three full of Gasoline
- About 50€ of toll (only in France, freeway is free in Germany)
- Speed is not limited on the freeway in Germany (not everywhere)
- You can contemplate the nice and green landscape of Germany, with big forest prairie
- You can take luggage until reach the limit of your car
- The only problem is you have to pay gasoline, which is expensive
- Train :
- You need to change (around 3 changes)
- Trip is very long and you have to carry your loud luggages
- Train in Germany is very expensive(for example, I took the train to go to Francfort from Braunschweig (350km), I paid 80 euros for the return and it was a special offer, so I let you gess when it's not an offer)

- Plane:
- You have to take Ryanair because it's the cheapest
- If you take the plane, you have to take the train or the bus to go to Wolfenbüttel
- You
can choose the following destinations: Franckfurt (Francfort), Berlin,
Hanover (Ryanair doesn't go to Hanover, but Hanover is the closer city
from Wolfenbüttel).
- You have a limit of luggage (10 kg for hand luggage and 15 kg in the hold)
- You
can find interesting offers but it depends of the company and the
period (i found a return Franckfurt Hahn/Montpellier for 20€ but you
have to take the train in consideration).
