How to arrive?

Voyager moins cher

The easiest way to get to Plymouth is to fly to London and then go to Gatwick airport to take plane from it with Air Southwest to Plymouth.

However, this solution is the most expensive, at least to order your tickets 3 months before departure.

If you can pay cheaper, you must choose to travel by coach from the city where you will arrive at Plymouth. To see, please have a look on National Express Company that can be a good solution if you buy your tickets before, because this one offers attractive rates and many possibilities. The company Mégabus may be cheaper but the journey from London to Plymouth occurs more than once per day with the departure at 17H. Another way may be travel by train with the First Great Western Company..

To reserve plane tickets many companies are interesting. British Airways, Ryanair, Easy Jet, Flybe. In our case, we flew with the British Airways because this one is more flexible in terms of luggage. It allows 23kg for your hand baggage and check luggage. Be careful to baggage weight, because the ticket can be expensive if you exceed the allowable weight limit, specially "unofficial" which you will pay dearly for this surplus.

For a complete France/Plymouth one way ticket, the price is between 100 and 200 euros (if you buy your tickets in advance!).

Advice: If you land at London Gatwick take the Gatwick Express. It will take you directly to the bus station in central London (Victoria Terminus).

If you would like ride in England, opt for the Megabus Company because you can buy tickets at £2.
