Plymouth offers a large choice of Pubs and Clubs.
If you want to know people, go to the pubs! It's one of the best ways because of the friendliness of the English people; in all our night outs, there was a great party atmosphere.
While the first part, we were surprised cause we saw dressed up people in schtroumph, power rangers, nurse and Star Treks!
The first pub where you can go is UPSU (University of Plymouth Student Union)).It is located within the university and offers a wide range of entertainment. Among them, we can speak about the Stock Exchange Party, where the inflation prices of drinks depends upon the rate at which the drinks are been sold, this is the principle rule of the game and so when more drinks are been sold there is an increase in the drink prices and vice versa, less drinks been sold; cheaper the drinks price drops.
Then, we can advise the Cuba pub, Uni Rooms, Oceana, Boomerang pub.
For sports fans, UPSU distributes most of the First League matches on two giant screens.
Most clubs are located along the Union Street and in the Barbican way. The most attractive clubs are C 103, Revolution, Oceana and Varsity. During the week, entrances cost around £3 to £4 while the weekend between £5 to £6. Drink prices vary between £1 and £5; so, rates are great.
Unlike pubs, clubs have a more parting feel to it and also a higher chance to see people with extravagant fancy dress!
